Cynthia’s Baskets carry the legacy of three generations of Mi’kmaq basket weavers. Handwoven around glass vases, these pieces combine traditional basketry with a practical way to display flowers. Rooted in her family’s basket shop in Whycocomagh, Cape Breton, each basket reflects Cynthia’s skill, family heritage and the continuation of Mi’kmaq craftsmanship
